A great project (and school year) comes to an end!

Well, once again, the days (and months!) went by really fast! Before school let out in early July, we were able to finish up our e-book with our work on the project "(Y)our Food" with our partners in Milan, Italy. Here is what we accomplished.

With the students in the European section, we are learning about the 13 original colonies of the United States and asking the question: Why do we move?

Students have chosen one of the original colonies to research and are going to present a presentation (using Prezi or another powerpoint-type presentation) in English. Here is the Prezi that explains the project. I can't wait to see what the students do!

Day 2 in Milan

So, we're getting ready to head to Milan -- Mrs Perez, Mrs Kachelhoffer, Mr Tiranzoni and Mrs Meisel and 18 students! It should be fun! We'll keep you posted as we visit our sister school, stroll the streets of Milan and visit the Universal Exposition about "Feeding the Planet".
